Dear families, 

Congratulations, we have successfully completed the first half of the school year! As you get ready to enjoy your much-deserved winter break, I would like to thank you for your part in helping ensure students attend, learn and thrive at school each and every day. 

During this winter break, please encourage your child to continue learning by reading every night and logging on to a school-issued online app like Clever or Khan Academy. We want all our students to start the new year ready to learn! 

In addition to learning, we also want all our students to have strong school attendance in the new year! To ensure your child is ready for the first day back, please make sure to establish a regular bedtime and morning routine several days in advance, and don’t forget to set their alarm clock. Also, whenever possible, please avoid scheduling appointments and extended trips while school is in session. Remember that you can always monitor your child’s attendance on Skyward.
